Kona Murray

Kona Murray was a proud Golden lab.
She was trained as a service dog, so when her parents got her, they were very lucky.  She was a lady and well-mannered.  She now resides at Rainbow Bridge, where doggies go to wait for there parents.
Merry Christmas, Jenny and Brian.
May this bring you good memories of Kona.

If I Were A Rich Man

If I Were A RICH MAN is an image from Cuba, where a dear friend and superb photographer, Gini Pringle made this image.  From the moment I saw it, it made me smile.  I just and to paint this man.  He seemed satisfied with his lit cigar, and a lap and hat adorned with his roosters.  A colorful scene in many ways.  I hope you enjoy it.

Dance Like Nobody's Looking

I have been experimenting with a more impressionistic approach
to humans and animals.  I love movement, and the human body is
lovely to paint.  This was painted from memory of a model in class.

My Kind Of Guy...

Nothing like a boxer or bulldog or whatever....
To make you feel good.  They are big and sweet and they
LOVE their parents, eat anything, and
can hike a long way.  Enjoy!

Secret Pals...

Secret Pals is all about the company we keep.
These two little cherubs obviously enjoy being together.
I hope that Secret Pals makes you smile.

Emma Carson

Emma Carson is a LADY!
She is soft and feminine and loves her Mom and Dad.
She proudly struts around the neighborhood, doing her little girly steps,
and loves  it when a passerby oooh's and aaah's over her adorable little self.
Emma proves that great things come in tiny packages.

DON'T CALL ME A PIG!!!

This is part of the DESERT SERIES that I am working on.
DON'T CALL ME A PIG....
is a view of a mother peccary (NOT a pig) and her little baby in the desert at night.
I laughed while I painted this.
Hope that it makes you smile or laugh too!

The BOXER

Simon and Garfunkel write and sing a lot of songs.
If you listen carefully to the words, you can really understand some of their messages.
After changes, after changes, we are more or less
the same.

Molly Klitten

Molly Klitten is the doggie of Gail and Marty Klitten.
She lives with her parents and Mandy, another doggie who looks a lot like Molly.
Molly came to live with Mandy when Gail's mother needed to find her a home.
When I met Molly, I just wanted to pet her soft fur and kiss her darling nose.
She is sweet and adorable and gentle.

Mulligan Pringle

Mulligan Pringle was a proud Airedale.
He took care of his Daddy and Mommy, and then went on to Rainbow Bridge.
I couldn't help but painting him --
This pose is taken on a road trip to Santa Fe with his Mom.
What a guy!

LIFE IS GOOD, ANNIE!

Annie Taylor is one smart doggie.
She has made kids grin in hospitals and in schools,
and so many others love her that we couldn't possibly count all of them.
She knows how to "Jump down, roll over, and play dead..." all in one motion!
Here's to Annie Taylor....
Adorable and sweet, and a gorgeous girl.

I KNOW A SECRET.....

Some things are universal worldwide.
Children are beautiful.
This darling little girl was perched in her doorway in Cuba,
Mother not far behind her -- as my friend Gini, photographed her.
Smiling face and twinkling eyes,
Saying, "I know a SECRET....."
I couldn't wait to paint her.

Andrew's Schnauzer Daughter.....

It is my goal to paint two images for charity events
Each and every month.

This little girl is a result of one of those efforts.
Sherry and Fred Andrew, friends of ours,  purchased a
Painting of their little angel --
I gladly painted her.

Happiness is.....

Cowboy!

COWBOY!!!
Once again, Gini, my dear friend, has provided me with
a great image.

This fellow has re-stocked his chewing' tobacco, and we caught him in the act.

More Rings.....

Mardi Gras brings out the un-inhibition in many people.
Thus we see one party after hours:
Guys in a ring.  The rat is outside of the ring.
Whatever.....

RAT TA TOO WEE

OK.  Let's face it.  Some people paint flowers and butterflies.
I paint rats.  Yep.  But isn't he adorable??

RINGS

A playfulness found in the circus, a repetition of rings.
I photographed this lovely model over a year ago.
She posed for our class with a hula hoop.
I took her, her hoop, and imagined a circus like background with lights and action and fun.

I hope that you enjoy her.

Aura....

Nudes are difficult for me.
I love the tones of skin, but I somehow generally mess up something.
This is an image that I have thought about painting for a while.
Hope that you enjoy her.

She is also the daughter of Dan Polsby, son of Jill.

Her sweet little girly girl face makes me want to kiss her on the head.
NTF, JILL!!!
