MOKO is the Grand Dog of a dear friend of mine, Jill Polsby.

She is also the daughter of Dan Polsby, son of Jill.

This sweet little girl was adopted and rescued recently.

Her sweet little girly girl face makes me want to kiss her on the head.

NTF, JILL!!!

Judith Newman and I have been through the "war zone" together.

We have known each other for years.

She sent me this photo of her son, Jesse, and herself, obviously mugging for her very capable camera. I painted them in their crazy pose.

Happy New Year, Judith!!

The doggies were snuggled, and the cat too. Waiting for Santa to appear, and knew...

That he would come soon to bring them toys

And loads of treats for our girl and the boys...

Thunder By the Ocean….

A lone horse flies down the ocean front while

scavenger gulls caw and flap to his rhythm….

I loved painting this.

I have always been a little frightened of acrylics.

They are STRONG in color and different to handle, compared with watercolors.

With watercolors, I paint fairly photo-realistically.

With acrylics, I decided to let it all hang out.

In LOOK THROUGH ANY WINDOW, I did just that.

This young fellow is the grandson of my dear friend, Annie Bickley.

Emmet is a fine athlete even at an early age.

He loves to run through the grass, seriously looking for the goal line.

GO EMMET!

I took a painting class with Lian Quan Zhen.

He was wonderful. Great artist and super sense of humor.

I generally cannot STAND painting flowers and focus most of my attention on people and animals.

This work was done with Chinese brushes and colors on rice paper.
